Derek R. Davenport is an ordained Pastor in the PC(USA). He is a graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, where he currently serves as the Director of Enrollment and Co-Director of the Miller Summer Youth Institute. His most recent publication is a series of devotionals for lent which were well received around the world. His current area of research focuses on the impact of Christian symbols on worship and education, particularly in the Reformed Tradition and even more specifically in the United States. His thoughts on ministry have appeared in Reader's Digest, The Presbyterian Outlook, and the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Rev. Davenport serves as a guest preacher for churches, schools, colleges and universities all over the country, and maintains this website as a service to the Church and church leaders around the country and globe.
